1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Sol AI (the “App”) you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Trial and Subscription Billing
- Free Trial. New users receive a complimentary 3-day trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple ID will be charged automatically.
- Subscription. After the trial, the App renews at US $3.99 per week through Apple In-App Purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation & Management. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings ➜ Apple ID ➜ Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
3. Use of WeatherKit & OpenAI APIs
- WeatherKit. UV index and weather data are provided by Apple Inc.’s WeatherKit. “WeatherKit” and related marks are Apple trademarks.
- OpenAI Vision. Selfies you select are analyzed on-device via OpenAI’s Vision model. No image leaves your device unless you export or back it up yourself.
4. Local Data Storage & Privacy
- The App stores onboarding status, subscription status, settings, and any images locally using React Native AsyncStorage. No user accounts are required; no data is stored on our servers.
- Granting location permission allows the App to retrieve local UV data; location is never transmitted to our servers.
- You may delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App.
5. Intellectual Property & User Content
- Our IP. Sol AI, including its code, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Sol AI LLC and protected by copyright and other laws.
- Your Content. You retain all rights to selfies you upload. By processing an image in the App you grant us a limited, revocable license to perform on-device analysis solely to provide the tanning-routine feature.
6. Health Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
- No Medical Advice. Sol AI offers cosmetic tanning suggestions only. It does not constitute medical, dermatological, or safety advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before exposing your skin to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
